Text Box: Vincent J. Harris Fire Chief Text Box: In December of 2002, Vince Harris was hired by the Board of Directors to serve as the Fire Chief. During his nearly thirty-year tenure in the fire industry, starting here at Greentown Fire Department, Vince has been an instrumental leader in the advancement of the department. Before becoming Chief, he served the department as a Lieutenant and as a Captain. He is also employed as a Ladder Captain on Canton Fire Department where he has been a career firefighter for twenty years. Outside of his service in the fire industry, Vince has many hobbies including coaching youth football and golf. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy, as well as his two daughters, three sons, and grandson.
